Provide assistance as requested to experienced special education teachers. Provide training and support to build capacity in curriculum materials and teaching models used in special education. Provide district wide/building support and professional development as needed.

Provide support for federal programs and oversee activities related to federal grants. Work collaboratively with program specialists to ensure programs within our district are in full alignment with grant requirements and KPBSD's strategic plan. Oversee state, and federal assessments and provide required training and oversight of assessment administration and reporting. Fulfill District Test Coordinator duties with the State of Alaska' DEED.

Title 1 Early Literacy Specialist Southern Peninsula

Provide support to Title I Pre-K and Title I K-2 literacy programs; Collaborate with Title I schools administrators and Title I funded staff; Assist with PLC meetings for Title I Pre-K teachers and others who serve Title I students; Assist schools in meeting compliance requirements for all Title I requirements; Provide support to Title I Pre-K teachers, Title I interventionists, and K-2 teachers at Title I schools.
