The Alaska Native Students In Arts & Media Fund was established by Chris Arend Photography to support Alaska Native students who want to pursue a career in visual & creative arts and media. This includes photography, videography, journalism, creative writing, graphic/digital design and traditional or fine arts. This annual scholarship will provide $5,000 to help students acquire and build the skills to tell their own personal and cultural stories through visual and other media. Two scholarships will be offered in 2024 to be used for university-level courses or professional development workshops and training in these areas.

Career Choice: Visual & creative arts and media, including photography, videography, journalism, creative writing, graphic/digital design, and traditional or fine arts.
