The Nanwalek community showed tremendous support for students by helping them with their projects and coming to the science fair to listen to student presentations and learning about their topics. The Nanwalek gym was buzzing with excitement! A few of the highlights for students:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cTalking to community members about things we were working on\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cResearching and learning on our own\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cI think the best part was being able to teach and present\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cBeing able to give our ideas to the community\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cInterviewing community members about our topic\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cLearning a lot about our village population and capacity\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cI\u2019m more comfortable presenting and conversing with people\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cLearning from my classmates about local, helpful plant-life\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The science fair was definitely a hit.
