This summer, many of us will travel within our great state, and out of state. While health guidelines and mandates do change, these may be helpful travel related resources for you: <\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>State\nof Alaska Travel information and declaration forms:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/covid19.alaska.gov\/travelers\/\">https:\/\/covid19.alaska.gov\/travelers\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/communications.blogs.kpbsd.k12.ak.us\/files\/2020\/06\/2020-06-12-DHSS-TravelChart-Infographic-1024x622.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6620\" width=\"512\" height=\"311\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dhss.alaska.gov\/dph\/Epi\/id\/SiteAssets\/Pages\/HumanCoV\/TravelChart.pdf\">Online\nLink to Travel Graphic<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<p>Current\n<a href=\"https:\/\/covid19.alaska.gov\/health-mandates\/\">State of Alaska Health\nMandates<\/a> including two notes of interest:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Health Mandate 010: Interstate and\nInternational Travel<\/strong><ul><li>note:<em>\nAs of June 28, 2020, <a href=\"https:\/\/covid19.alaska.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/06152020-COVID-MANDATE-010.pdf\">Alaskans\nreturning to the state from a trip five days or less<\/a> are not required to\ntake a test before departing, and can upon return, take a COVID test at the\nairport, and quarantine until receiving a negative result. Plus, \u201cThe resident\nwill receive a voucher for a second test that must occur within 7-14 days after\narrival, and should minimize interactions until the results from the second\ntest shows the resident is negative for COVID-19.\u201d Alternately, if no test is\ntaken upon return, Alaskans must quarantine 14 days. Details about this option\nare on the State Travel webpage, in the Travel Declaration Form options.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<\/em><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Health Mandate 018: Intrastate Travel<\/strong><ul><li>note: <em>\u201cIntrastate\nTravel Between Communities Located Off The Road System or The Marine Highway\nSystem Is Permitted, but subject to local travel restrictions.\u201d<\/em><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>Tip:\nFollow the <a href=\"http:\/\/dhss.alaska.gov\/dph\/Epi\/id\/Pages\/COVID-19\/default.aspx\">Alaska\nDepartment of Health and Social Services<\/a> (DHSS) on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/alaska.dhss\/\">Facebook<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/alaska.dhss\/\">Instagram<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Alaska_DHSS\">twitter<\/a> for their informational\nposts and updates.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>As\nour <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kpbsd.k12.ak.us\/students_parents.aspx?id=41540\">KPBSD\nSmartStart 2020<\/a> plans for reopening schools in August comes together, you\nwill definitely receive more information later in July.
