I&#8217;ve had the opportunity to tag along on several trips to our diverse schools where I&#8217;m learning about the KPBSD school district, taking photos, meeting students and educators.<\/p>\n<p>Arriving at the school,\u00a0two\u00a0framed paintings hinged\u00a0with a mirror\u00a0caught my attention.\u00a0Curious, I learned it will be a part of a cultural learning experience for the students.\u00a0Two accompanying head pieces had just arrived. One of the Port Graham students I&#8217;d met during the recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kpbsd.k12.ak.us\/communications.aspx?id=22394\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KPBSD student council conference day<\/a> showed me the headpiece for the girls.\u00a0I&#8217;ll post more as the students engage this cultural learning experience;\u00a0meanwhile, I&#8217;m grateful to\u00a0hear the stories and meet Port Graham students.
