We strive to inspire brilliance in our community regardless of age through art\, music\, dance\, and literary works as vehicles to bring enlivenment\, cultural exchange and unity.” \nFireweed Academy would like to thank Alaska State Legislature for its support of the Alaska State Council on the Arts (ASCA).  Through the support of the ASCA\, the Bunnell Street Arts Center is able to provide the Artists in School Program to Fireweed and other local schools.

DESCRIPTION:On September 7th\, 2021 the Academic Policy Committee implemented a universal mask requirement for students\, staff\, parents\, and visitors of Fireweed Academy. It has been requested that the APC clarifies the mask requirement.  We initially addressed this request during our monthly board meeting on Monday\, December 6th.  We will be meeting through zoom  next Monday at 1pm as a small group and Thursday\, December 16th at 4:00pm as the whole APC to discuss the mask requirement.
