Safety Closure & Early Start Procedures<\/h2>

Parents and guardians, school safety is a top priority in the KPBSD and here at Homer Flex. It\u2019s important for you to know what to do before, during, and after a school emergency, weather related delay start, or school closure. Please visit this webpage to familiarize yourself with A.L.I.C.E., KPBSD emergency terms and actions, and how to learn if there will be a two-hour delay start or school closure.  Learn more here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25ba If school remains open due to adverse weather, and you as a parent or guardian assess the conditions in your local area and decide to keep children home, please call the school to let the office know. An absence due to road and weather conditions will be excused.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Daily Schedules<\/h2>

Here are the two daily schedules we run at Homer Flex.\u00a0 The first schedule is the normal schedule, and is used the majority of the time. The other is our Activity Day schedule – it also serves as our early release schedule, without the final period at the end of the day. We use the Activity schedule when we need a block of time for an alternate activity, such as P.E. activities or Artist in the School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
