We hope you have a fun and relaxing summer! As we look forward to the 2023\/2024 School Year, here are a few dates to mark on your calendars!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New to district student registration is Friday, August 4th<\/sup> from 10:00am \u2013 4:00pm<\/strong>.\u00a0 If you know a family that is new to KPBSD, please let them know! This is also for students that were not aware they were attending KMS at the end of last school year. If you are unsure if your student is registered for Kenai Middle, do not hesitate to call the office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Both returning and new to KMS students will get their schedules on\u00a0Friday, August 11th<\/strong>.\u00a0 Our school counselor, Ms. Johnson, has been working hard to make sure all students schedules will be released on that day!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you have a\u00a0new to KMS student<\/strong>, we invite them to our\u00a0Welcoming All Kids<\/strong>\u00a0event!\u00a0 It is from\u00a09:00 am-11:30am on Friday, August 11th<\/strong>.\u00a0 Students will meet our 8th\u00a0grade leadership students, practice their lockers, have a tour of the school, and enjoy a pizza lunch!<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you have a\u00a0returning KMS student<\/strong>, stop by KMS\u00a0Friday, August 11th<\/strong>\u00a0any time between\u00a012:00pm-3:00pm<\/strong>\u00a0to grab your schedule and locker assignment!\u00a0 If you are a 7th or 8th grader and you would like to change your schedule, we will have schedule change forms available at the office at that time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n The\u00a0first day of school\u00a0is on\u00a0Tuesday, August 15th<\/strong>.\u00a0 School starts at 7:50am and is dismissed at 2:27pm.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n If your student is riding a bus, please call our front office at 283-1700 the week before school starts to create a bus pass for the year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n We will see you soon!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello KMS Parents\/Guardians!
