It\u2019s time for our annual Sources of Strength \u201cGreat Giveback: Homeless Bag Challenge\u201d!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From Monday, November 3rd through Friday, November 14th, we\u2019ll be collecting items to create care bags for members of our local community experiencing homelessness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a grade-level competition, and each completed bag earns your grade 1 point. You can track your grade\u2019s progress daily \u2014 everyone now has access to view the live tally sheet during advisory!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83c\udfaf Drop-Off Details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When: First thing each morning (Nov 3\u201314)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Where: Front Office<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Label: Be sure to mark items with your name and grade<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who Benefits: All donations stay local, supporting organizations like OCS, LeeShore Center, Love INC, and the Food Bank<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83c\udfc6 Competition Reward:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The grade with the most completed bags wins a Root Beer\/Soda Float Party on Monday, November 17th during lunch!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our students look to you for motivation and momentum! In past years, teachers have boosted participation with creative incentives \u2014 extra credit, assignment passes, bonus points \u2014 the sky is the limit! Your enthusiasm and encouragement truly make or break this campaign\u2019s success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This challenge is more than a competition \u2014 it\u2019s a chance to show compassion, build community, and live out the Generosity slice of our Sources of Strength wheel. Every single bag we create offers comfort, hope, and dignity to someone right here in our own community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
