DESCRIPTION:KMTA will be visiting with our students and transporting them to Devil’s Pass Ski Trails to study “Our Forests in Winter”(winter Ecology). \nKMTA has their own van to transport students for this field trip. DESCRIPTION:For 3rd-5th Graders \nStarting on Tuesday\, April 7th\, we will be taking assessments for the State of Alaska called AK STAR. That stands for the AlasKa SysTem of Academic Readiness. This test helps inform the state about each student’s level of proficiency for Math and Language Arts. Also\, the 5th grade students will have a Science test\, which is only for 5th\, 8th\, and 10th graders. \nPlease help your child(ren) to get enough sleep and eat a good breakfast before testing days. Students will be given frequent breaks during testing so they can refresh their brains. Also\, we have snacks to share!
