We are still in the planning stages of this overnight field trip to Kayaker’s Cove and Caine’s Head in Resurrection Bay.<\/p>\n

  1. May 13th.\n
      \n
    1. Travel\/self drive to Lowell Point<\/li>\n
    2. Park and get geared staged by 9:30 (caf\u00e9 will be open for breakfast\/coffee)<\/li>\n
    3. Departing Millers Landing via water taxi: 10 am<\/li>\n
    4. Arriving at Kayakers Cove: 10:30 am\n
        \n
      1. Where we will explore the tidal zone and surrounding environment.<\/li>\n
      2. We will need to prepare lunch, snacks and dinner.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. May 14th\n
          \n
        1. Preparing Breakfast-packing up lunches and snacks for on the trail<\/li>\n
        2. Leaving Kayakers Cove: 10:45 boat arrives and load up<\/li>\n
        3. Arriving at Caines Head: 11:30 am\n
            \n
          1. 4-mile round trip with 400 feet elevation gain. 4 hours of hiking\/exploring<\/li>\n
          2. Lunch and Snacks from the morning prep<\/li>\n
          3. Some students will be exploring the forest closer to the beach and not complete the entire hike-dependent on ability.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          4. Pick up at Caines Head: 3:30 pm<\/li>\n
          5. Arrive at Millers at 4 pm<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
