That stands for the <u>A<\/u>las<u>K<\/u>a <u>S<\/u>ys<u>T<\/u>em of <u>A<\/u>cademic <u>R<\/u>eadiness. This test helps inform the state about each student\u2019s level of proficiency for Math and Language Arts. Also, the 5<sup>th<\/sup> grade students will have a Science test, which is only for 5<sup>th<\/sup>, 8<sup>th<\/sup>, and 10<sup>th<\/sup> graders.<\/p>\n<p>Please help your child(ren) to get enough sleep and eat a good breakfast before testing days. Students will be given frequent breaks during testing so they can refresh their brains. Also, we have snacks to share!
