Nanwalek School transitions to paper pencil packets for remote students

Dear Parents/Students,

Nanwalek School will be transitioning to paper/pencil packets only for remote students.  Even though we are not going to be doing online learning, students may still choose to turn assignments in electronically, and teachers may still keep their Google Classrooms up and may post videos from time to time as needed.  This change is to streamline how we are providing education to our students.  We understand that connectivity here in the community is not the best and we feel that eliminating that option will help students learn by alleviating the stress of not being able to log on to their classrooms.

Mr. Crain would like to do an online zoom meeting with all Remote Parents/Students to go over the changes and what to expect that will come with some challenges of just doing paper/pencil packets.  Mr. Crain will email the meeting link and times to all students who have a District email.  If your child does not have a School District email please call Mr. Crain at 907-281-2210 to get the link.

Thank You for your Patience and Time as we go through these challenging times.

Thank You

Mr. Crain
