May has arrived, and it is incredible to reflect on how quickly this school year has passed. This final stretch is a meaningful time as we celebrate growth, accomplishments, and the strong sense of community that defines Nikiski North Star Elementary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the highlights this spring was our Family Night, Jartastic<\/em>. We were thrilled to see such an incredible turnout, so much so that we ran out of supplies in less than an hour despite preparing for a large crowd. It was a wonderful reminder of the enthusiasm and support within our school community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We also recently held our kindness fundraiser, which not only raised funds to support our school but also intentionally highlighted acts of kindness among our students. When visitors come into our building, we often hear how kind our students are and how well they look out for one another. These behaviors do not happen by chance, they are the result of the strong partnership between families, our NNS staff, and the daily efforts of our students to choose kindness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As we wrap up the school year, our focus remains on maintaining strong routines, celebrating progress, and finishing with pride. Students are reflecting on their growth, setting goals, and recognizing the effort they have put into their learning. It is inspiring to see their confidence and resilience as they prepare for the next step in their journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thank you for your continued partnership, encouragement, and support.
