Hello! We have 2 informational items for you: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
1) We just wanted to remind you that tomorrow, Friday, March 18th, is an early release day with students being dismissed 1-1\/2 hours earlier than normal. Kindergarteners released at 1:20 and 1st through 5th grades at 1:30. Bus service will be provided and your child will arrive home 1-1\/2 hours earlier than they usually do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
2) Another important message comes from Tony at Apple Bus<\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n Starting Monday, March 21st, we are going to take children that live on Nash Road and Salmon Creek\/Camelot, off of bus 3 and move them to bus 1 (only in the afternoon)<\/strong>. Morning will stay as it is).<\/strong> We are hoping that this will bring some of the children’s ride times down and help with the overcrowding on bus 3. I am sorry for the changes but we hope that this will be a good change. I have been in contact with some parents and the driver of bus 3 is telling kids and parents when he drops children off in the afternoons of these new changes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n My job is to make things as easy as possible on everyone while keeping drivers and students safety a number one priority. Bus 3 has been averaging over 78 kids on the bus for a while now, and some kids are on the bus for over an hour. My hope is that this change will bring down ride times and also make route 3 more manageable for the driver and the students. Thank you for being so patient and flexible with us while we go through this rough time of staffing but I promise that we are doing the best we can with what we have.
