Please encourage your child to read over the summer.
7th grade reading Lexile is: 970-1120
8th grade reading Lexile is: 1100-1185
When school starts in August, all students at Skyview Middle School will take the Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI) to measure their Lexile level. If your child’s Lexile level is below the above mentioned levels for his/her grade, he/she may be assigned a reading class.
