We hope that everyone has had a wonderful summer! Some of our staff have returned and are working hard to get everything ready for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
🔴⚫ Student Schedules
Schedules will be available on PowerSchool by 3:00 PM on Monday, August 11, 2025.
If your schedule is incomplete or you need changes for educational purposes, counselors will be available by appointment only on:

🕘 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
➡️ Please call the school to schedule your appointment.
➡️ Walk-ins will not be accepted due to in-service meetings.
⏳ Deadline to request schedule changes:
Friday, August 29, 2025 at 8:00 AM

🔴⚫ Locker Sign-Out
We encourage students to sign out lockers before school starts to reduce first-day stress:
- Freshmen – At Freshmen Night, Monday, August 18 @ 6:00 PM
- Sophomores – Thursday, August 14, 2:00–4:00 PM
- Juniors – Friday, August 15, 12:00–2:00 PM
- Seniors – Friday, August 15, 2:00–4:00 PM
⚠️ These times are for locker sign-out only — no schedule changes or teacher visits.
🔴⚫ Freshmen Night & Open House
📍 Monday, August 18, 2025 – KCHS
- 🧭 Freshmen Night – 6:00 PM
A student-only event hosted by the Leadership Class.
Activities include:- Games
- Tours
- High school info
- Locker assignments
- 🏫 Open House – 6:30 PM
Parents and upperclassmen:- Pick up schedules
- Meet teachers
- Take school tours
- Visit the office for registration updates, bus passes, or questions
- 10th–12th graders may also sign out lockers if they missed their earlier time
