January 9th- Senior pictures, baby pictures and quotes are due to Mrs. Johnson. Please email her at jjohnson4@kpbsd.k12.ak.us. These will be used for the yearbook and senior slide show.
April 29th- There will be a senior meeting during 4th hour for students only. The meeting will start at 10:25am. We will go over all things Graduation and answer any questions they may have.
May 15th- This is the last day of school for seniors. They will complete their senior checkout forms before leaving school.
May 19th- Awards Night will be held at 6:00pm in the KCHS Auditorium. Students will be notified by the office if they are to attend. More information will be coming!
May 20th- Graduation practice will be held in the Kenai Central Auditorium. All seniors are required to be at the school by 7:40am for Graduation practice. Please make sure your student is here on time. We cannot start practice until everyone is present.
Doors to the Kenai Central Auditorium will open at 5:30pm. Students need to be in the cafeteria by 6:00pm. Graduation will start at 6:30pm and will be about 2 hours long. All spectators must have a ticket for Graduation. The number of tickets each student will receive will be told to the seniors during the senior meeting on April 29th. If they need extra they will let Mr. Beck know and he will keep a list of who needs extra tickets and work on making sure students receive the amount of tickets they need. The extra ticket list will be started on April 29th. Graduation tickets are handed out to students once Graduation practice is over.
Cap and Gowns-Cap and Gowns should be ordered as soon as possible. Here is the link to order the cap and gown-https://www.jostens.com/apps/store/customer/1115366/Kenai-Central-High-School/. Cap and gowns will be delivered to the school and handed out in April. All caps and gowns are red. The color is automatically selected by Jostens so there is no way to accidentally order the wrong color. Jostens will be sending out an email to all senior families soon! It is a little bit hard to find just the cap, gown and stole option. Once you are on the website click on the Graduation tab, then scroll all the way down and click on the “shop all graduation products” tab. Once there you should be able to scroll down until you find the $62 basic package. Please do not hesitate to call if you need help finding it or if you need help purchasing them.
