Wednesday, February 17th is an early release day.  The early release day dismissal times have changed from previous years.  Students will be dismissed at 1:27pm.  The bus schedule will accommodate the early release.  Please call the office at 283-1700, if you have any questions.

Parent / Teacher conferences are scheduled for: Wednesday, February 17th from 2:30pm - 6:00pm Thursday, February 18th from 11am - 4:30pm & 5:00pm - 7:00pm Friday, February 18th from 7:30am - 11:30am. Please click the sign-up link on the homepage to sign-up for a conference time.

Thursday, March 4th, the 8th grade will make their annual fieldtrip to Solid Rock for some outdoor winter fun! Permission forms are due now and the cost is $15 per student.

The 7th grade class will have their annual ice fishing trip on Friday, March 19th.  Please send signed permission forms and fees asap.  Appropriate snow gear and waterproof shoes are required to attend the trip.  If this presents a hardship, please inform the office or your 7th graders teacher.  We may be able to help!

Testing will begin the week of April 5th - 9th.  8th graders will test on April 6th; 7th graders will test on April 7th; 6th graders will test on April 8th.  Science testing for 8th graders only will be on Friday, April 9th.

Thursday, March 25th our KMS bands will be in concert in the KCHS auditorium.  The concert will begin at 7pm.  Each band member can have two attendees.

8th grade students are invited to attend a Freshman Orientation meeting in the KCHS auditorium on Thursday, April 8th at 6pm.

Wednesday, April 21st, there will be a 1 hour early release.  Students will be dismissed from school at 1:27pm.  There will be no tutoring on an early release day.
