Hello KMS Parents/Guardians!
We hope you have had a fun and relaxing summer! As we look forward to the 26-27 School Year, please note we have exciting things happening at KMS! Please use the back main entrance while we are under construction. Our front office is temporarily housed in the library.

Kenai Middle will be open for in-person, new student registration Friday, August 7th from 8:00am-3:00pm. If you know a family that is new to KPBSD, please let them know! If you are unsure if your student is registered or if you have questions, do not hesitate to call the office 907-283-1700. Please use the back entrance if you are stopping by KMS in person!
All students will get their schedules and locker assignments on Monday, August 17th. Our school counselor has been working hard to make sure all students schedules will be released on that day!
Please note your students assigned time slot for schedules and locker assignments:
6th graders 10:00am-11:00am
7th graders 11:00am-12:00pm
8th graders 12:00-1:00pm
If your student is unable to attend in their grade level time slot, schedules and lockers can be picked up the following day, Tuesday, August 18th, during normal school hours or on the first day of school.
If you are a 7th or 8th grader and you would like to change your schedule, we will have schedule change forms available.
The first day of school is Wednesday, August 19th. School starts at 7:50am and is dismissed at 2:27pm.
If your student is riding a bus, please call our front office at 907-283-1700 the week before school starts to create a bus pass for the year!
