OPEN HOUSE!!!
All local families are invited to Open House at Nikolaevsk School on Thursday, Sept. 14th at 2:40pm – even if you are homeschooling!
Instead of picking up your child, we would like families to meet us in the gym at 2:40pm for a welcome presentation by Gregory Melvin. You’ll learn about our staff and students – sports that are being planned for this school year – voices from Student Council – and how you can influence the direction of our Title I Program that centers on school improvement!
Doors open at 2:30pm.
We are serving local food, such as piroshki and spring rolls, and more to all participants. We have planned cakewalks sponsored by our Student Council, as well as Student/Parent scavenger hunts. To top this off, we will have our first Open Gym night from 4:00-6:00pm.
Parents will be able to provide input on our Title I Program, which aims for school improvement and how we could use funds for academic improvement. You’ll also learn about the KPBSD Migrant Education Program, and yes…we need your thoughts on days/hours of future Open Gym nights.
