Wrestling practice starts Tuesday, Jan. 6 from 2:30-4pm at the Seward High wrestling room. Participation forms need to be turned in to the coach and $100 participation fee needs to be paid to office.
Coach Beck has stepped up to coach volleyball intramurals! Practice will start today, 1/7/26 from 2:30-4:00. 6th graders are welcome to participate in intramurals. Participation paperwork and $100 participation fee needs to be turned in (6th grade will pay $50 if they continue with competitive play an additional $50 is due). *All volleyball fees need to be paid at the school office, cash or check made out to Seward Middle School (no online payments for volleyball at this time).
Nordic Ski is on hold awaiting the number of interested students, sign up sheet at the office.

We’re excited to share the participation fee details for 6th grade sports this year. Please review the information below to help plan for upcoming seasons.
6th Grade Sports Participation Information
6th graders will pay the full $100 participation fee for the following independent sports: Cross Country Running, Soccer, Wrestling, Nordic Ski, and Track.
For soccer, basketball and volleyball, 6th graders will pay a $50 intramural participation fee. If there are not enough 7th graders to form a B-team, the school may request a waiver allowing 6th graders to move up to the B-team and participate in games. If a 6th grader is allowed to continue participating in travel and team competitions, they will need to pay an additional $50 participation fee, for a total of $100.

Middle school students enrolled in KPBSD school shall be charged $100 per activity.
Non-KPBSD students will be assessed an additional $100 for a total of $200 to support an equitable contribution to facilities and operations per KPBSD activity.
The following participation paperwork should be completed and turned in to the respective coach before athletes can practice or compete.
