Testing will begin the week of April 5th - 9th.  8th graders will test on April 6th; 7th graders will test on April 7th; 6th graders will test on April 8th.  Science testing for 8th graders only will be on Friday, April 9th.

Thursday, March 25th our KMS bands will be in concert in the KCHS auditorium.  The concert will begin at 7pm.  Each band member can have two attendees.

8th grade students are invited to attend a Freshman Orientation meeting in the KCHS auditorium on Thursday, April 8th at 6pm.

Wednesday, April 21st, there will be a 1 hour early release.  Students will be dismissed from school at 1:27pm.  There will be no tutoring on an early release day.

Every year KMS students looking for an advantage during mini course sign-ups can bring in a garbage bag full of crushed aluminum cans, earning a skip the line status for sign-ups. The Kenai Middle School Masonic Award recipient, Grace Kahn, will be recognized at the Masonic Award Ceremony, Friday, April 30th at 6pm in the KCHS auditorium.  Congratulations Grace!

KMS 6th grade students will make their annual camping trip to Victory Camp in Willow again this year.  They will hike a glacier, learn about science and participate in many rewarding activities.

KMS students will participate in an Awards Assembly on 5/19 beginning at 8:30am.  A hotdog bbq lunch will be provided and outside games and activities in the afternoon.

School opens Tuesday, August 17, 2021.  First bell rings at 7:45am.  Tardy bell rings at 7:50am.  Welcome back to the new school year!
