Seahawk Day of Caring Booster Club/SHS Athletics Fundraiser May 4th

Wednesday, May 4th will be Seward High’s 3rd spring to participate in the Day of Caring.

After a two year hiatus due to Covid, we are ready to get back to fundraising and to help make our town beautiful! As in the past, our athletes will be participating in giving back to the community by pitching in and helping clean up the town for the spring. This has been a great success when we’ve been able to do it in the past and we are looking forward to continuing the tradition. All Seahawk athletes from this school year will want to participate to help raise funds. This year’s project will be to start from the high school and make our way into downtown picking up windblown trash and other debris that has accumulated over the winter. We will start after lunch and walk downtown in groups all the way to the pavilion where we will have a cookout at the pavilion around 4:00 pm. If you would like to participate and chaperone or to donate to the cause please email booster club president Grace Williams or athletic director Al Plan to get involved!
