Vision
A kaleidoscope reflects the many ways of thinking that are the foundation of the KSAS model in which each of the arts, as well as inquiry science, are lenses to explore and understand the world.
KSAS engages the whole child–building creativity, critical thinking, deeper understandings, and intellectual habits of mind. Through the commitment of the KSAS community, students reach their full potential and become adults who value and support the arts and sciences, live enriched lives, continue to engage in social action, and contribute to the world around them.
Collaboration creates a lens for understanding the world, producing global citizens, who exercise persistence and self-discipline and who value and support creative critical thinking developed through engagement with arts and science.
Mission
Kaleidoscope School of Arts and Science will educate the whole child through integrated arts and science to nurture meaningful learning.

Family and Community Engagements/Highlights
Our school has a very active PTA, which is comprised of both parent and staff members. They help to plan activities to keep families engaged in their education and to foster relationships between home and school. They plan family engagement activities, as well as fundraise for our students.
When you attend our school you become part of our Kaleidoscope Family.
Each quarter we have End of Quarter Celebrations where we invited families in to celebrate their children’s learning throughout the quarter.
Each day we host approximately 4-5 volunteers, which include, parents, grandparents, siblings and community members.
Goals for the year
- Reading: 95% of students will have an increased reading score on Aimsweb ORF to reach above the 25%, as demonstrated on benchmark testing.
- Family Engagement: KSAS will strive to have all families attend at minimum 4 events at KSAS through the school year, as will be demonstrated on parent sign-in logs.
- Professional Development: 100% of KSAS staff will participate in PD trainings that are specific to our charter, and to our new Signapore Math Curriculum, as demonstrated by attending and participation at staff meetings and in-service days.
