All 6th graders will receive new schedules at the start of 2nd Quarter. Most students will have a different afternoon exploratory class.
ALL students will receive new schedules following the Winter Break, on January 4th. 7th and 8th grade students will be allowed to access their 2nd Semester Schedules in December, so they can make Schedule Change Requests before the Winter Break.
Lastly, KMS has been selected to participate in the NAEP Assessment (National Assessment of Educational Progress). This assessment affects only select 8th graders, and will take place on January 26th, 2022. More information will be forthcoming, as we get nearer the assessment date.
Here’s to a great 2nd Quarter!

Lost & Found

Our KMS lost and found is full. There are school wide lost and found outside Mr. Tilly’s office and in the commons. Girls and Boys PE also have a lost and found that is full. Please take a look in lost and found to claim your items. Quarterly, the lost and found will be cleaned out! Take a look now, before it’s gone!

AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING

After School Tutorial will be offered from 2:35 to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays and Thursdays to a limited number of students. This program
is in addition to the regular school day and will focus on lessons assigned to
students in their core classrooms. We will be completing assignments and
concentrating on developing successful study skills.
We are offering tutoring based on teacher input, and on a “first come, first serve” basis. Once
this program is filled, we will start a waiting list. Students missing more than 3 afternoon
sessions are subject to being dropped from this program. Please let the office know if your student is excused from tutoring for the day. This program will start on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021 and end on Wednesday, March 2nd 2021. Snacks will be available for students in the afterschool program and limited bussing will be provided. To sign up for After School Tutoring, stop by the office and pick up the necessary forms.
