As you may, or may not know, there are specific Seward area scholarships. Currently the Ron & Terri Davis Trades Scholarship (up to $1,000), the Luella James Scholarship (up to $1,000) and the Seward High Scholarship (up to $1,000) are open. There are also many other scholarships that students in your senior class may be eligible for. Please visit our website for more information, www.alaskacf.org/scholarships. The Kenai Borough Employees Association (KBEA) scholarship committee is currently accepting applications for five (5) scholarships, each in the amount of $500. These scholarships are available to all 2022 graduates of the Kenai Peninsula Borough (including public schools, private schools, and home-schooled).

The application deadline is March 30th.

This is the nation’s premier program to develop tomorrow’s leaders. It is a week-long program open to Alaska’s young girls to promote Americanism. I have attached the application and would ask you to please forward it to your staff members that would be appropriate. The young women do not have to be members of the Ladies Auxiliary to participate. The deadline for the applications to be submitted is May 10th 2022. 

The program will take place from May 31st to June 4th in Anchorage this year. Below is more information on the program, a flyer, and details on how to apply. Applications opened this week, and will close on March 27th.
