New Bus Schedules

Good morning! We have some new bus information and schedules we’d like to share with you. These new schedules will start on Monday, April 7th.

Tamara (Tammy) Lang is the new Location Manager for First Student! She has gone through their routes and compiled a more thorough list of stops and stop times for routes 301, 302 and 303. She has also made a few minor changes that will be implemented on April 7th and are listed below. There will be no changes to the SPED route or route 305 at this time. The new bus schedules are at the end of this e-mail. If a new stop is needed, please call Tammy at (907) 224-3559 or e-mail Tamara.Lang@firststudentinc.com

Route 2 Changes starting April 7th

-In Forest Acres, two door-to-door AM stops on Dimond and Cedar will be combined into a single stop at the intersection of Dimond and Cedar. A member of the transportation team will be present on the first day of implementing this new stop in order to ensure that students are familiar with the safe place to wait.

-AVTEC gym will no longer be an authorized stop, as it is a business and does not qualify as a school-to-school stop. Boys and Girls club will remain unchanged.

Route 3 Changes starting April 7th

-Students at 1904 and 1902 Swetman will use the Kimberly Court stop.

No changes will be made to the routes until April 7 to allow parents ample time to plan

100% of the funds raised will go into the PTA Arts and Music Fund. The PTA Arts and Music Fund benefits all three Seward schools by supporting and helping to fund the Seward Artists in Schools initiative, the Seward High School Theatre Collective and other various arts and music programs, especially those that present an opportunity for students to participate in an immersive or educational experience.
