Early Release Times: Little Fireweed at 12:50 & Big Fireweed at 1:15
Early Release days allow staff the time to collaborate for:
- review intervention needs, strategies and timelines for specific students
- Develop Social/Emotional Library containing resources for teachers and students
- time to plan instruction: the learning gap between students is larger and additional time is needed to plan to meet those needs
- time to review student data in a manner that guides instruction
- Title 1: Spring Semester family engagement activities planning, Personal Education Plan reviews, Spring Title 1 Committee Meeting planning, Power School updates, Title 1 parent surveys
- planning of field trips, special events, school celebrations, etc.
- professional development training
- review of curriculum.
- Restorative Practices and PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports) training.
- review of student support services.
