Both Big (3rd-6th grade) and Little Fireweed (K-2nd grade) are serving breakfast & hot lunches!
Breakfasts are $2.50 and are free for reduced & free qualified families. Lunches cost $3.50, $0.40 for reduced-qualified families. Milk is $0.60 and juice is $0.50 without a meal.
Lunches must be pre-ordered first thing in the morning so be sure your student knows if they need a lunch or not. Meals are free or reduced if your child(ren) qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program. You will find an online application at the link shown below. Parents or guardians, apply online for 2022-2023 school year free or reduced meal benefits. The application process is available through the new state online portal at http://mealapp.kpbsd.org.
Meal benefits from the 2021-2022 school year will carry over until October 4, 2021, but a new application must be received by KPBSD Student Nutrition Services by then, or students will revert to a paid meal status.
