Regular attendance is essential for student growth and learning. Our teachers begin instruction shortly after students arrive at 7:50am, and for many classes the beginning of the school day focuses on the essential skills for reading. We want all of our students to gain these foundational skills.
We understand that sickness occurs and that family trips are scheduled. Coming to school well rested and healthy is instrumental in student success and there are wonderful opportunities in family trips near and far. We encourage you to communicate any absences with your child’s teacher and the office, and to do all that you can to arrive on time.
