Cost: $18.00 per book. Pay online with a credit card, or you can send in cash or check made out to Seward Elementary School with your student. Yearbooks will be handed out the last week of school, May 2023!

The Student Leadership Team is selling Christmas Grams this week before school, Dec 5-9, 7:50 to 8:00 AM. Your child can send a Candy Cane Christmas Gram to their friends! 50 cents each!

The Christmas Grams will be delivered December 15th.

Parents, feel free to help your child participate by sending exact cash in envelope, along with a note stating who the Christmas Grams are going to, and who the Christmas Grams are from.

Good afternoon!  Seward Elementary will be having a drill tomorrow, Tuesday, November 29th, practicing our A.L.I.C.E. protocol.

A.L.I.C.E. is an acronym for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate.  These protocols are age appropriate, not sequential, or chronological, and those involved have the ability to change protocols as an incident develops.

Please go to the KPBSD Website and look up KPBSD Emergency Guidelines for Parents and Guardians.  Please review it so that you will know what to do if there is a school emergency situation..

The Student Leadership Team’s Seward Elementary T-Shirt sale has started!
The cost is $25 for T-shirts, and $40 for hoodies. This is a 2 week campaign, so November 28th is the last day to order. If you chose to have your order delivered to the elementary school, they will be delivered by December 16. (Just in time for Christmas!)

Seward Elementary picture retake day is tomorrow, Thursday, November 17th. Photographers will start right after students arrive at school. If you received your child’s photo packet and would like them to have their picture retaken, you will need to send the original packet back with your child to give to the photographer. If your child was absent on the first school picture day (Oct. 4th), please go online to Mylifetouch.com to order or fill out the picture packet form & have exact change inside. You may use either your student’s school ID or the Picture Day ID of EVTPM9KF3. Please remind your child to give the original picture packet or paper packet (if you choose to go that route) to the photographer.

Hello! Just a reminder that tomorrow, Friday, November 11th,  is an early release day for Seward students.  Classes will be dismissing 1-1/2 hours earlier than their regular scheduled time with Kindergarteners at 1:20PM and all remaining students at 1:30.  Busses will arrive at their stops 1-1/2 hours earlier than normal.  We hope your evening is relaxing and you have a wonderful, safe weekend!
