Profile

Mrs. Murr Burton received her Bachelor of Science degree from Montana State University in Bozeman where she began her teaching career in 2007. She moved to Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska to teach for four years in a K-12 school, while completing a Master of Education degree from University of Alaska Southeast. In 2013, she moved to the Kenai Peninsula where she has taught in four schools working with students in K-8th grades. She loves teaching, reading and writing poetry, walking in nature, and spending time with her husband, three kids, and her little dog, too.
