Profile

Ms. Ortloff has combined her love of teaching and learning with her love of travel. She has taught Social Studies, Spanish, and Special Education in Minnesota, El Salvador, and South Korea. Her experiences as a learner include earning degrees in Education and History. She is also passionate about swimming and can be found near the water swimming in open water competitions, teaching babies and children how to swim, lifeguarding, or coaching. Ms. Ortloff is excited about teaching middle school because it is a time when she witnesses students discovering who they are and what they care about through learning and experience.
