Mission Statement

Soldotna High School’s mission is to create and maintain an environment that ensures the opportunity for each member of the school community to reach a high level of individual, academic and vocational achievement as determined by local, state and national standards paired with employability skills. We commit to a comprehensive system of support within our school and community for all students.

FAQs

Soldotna High School opened its doors to students in 1979 with the first graduation class being 1980. Our school serves over 700 students with a staff of 75+ employees. We are the largest in-person school in the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District.

There are so many ways to be involved in student life here at SOHI! We have a wide variety of athletic and extracurricular activities in which students can participate. Visit our Athletics and Club pages for more information.
