The PTO is now Friends of Fireweed Academy. The roles of FoFA are to help build community between students, teachers, families and the broader Homer community; Fundraising; Volunteer coordination, inside and outside of the classroom; Staff partnership and appreciation; FUN! Friends of Fireweed Academy is made up of parent volunteers and Fireweed staff.
Friends of Fireweed Academy meets monthly for roughly 90 minutes at Little Fireweed in the 2nd grade classroom. Meetings begin at 3:15PM.
