Message from Our Superintendent
I am honored to serve as the new Superintendent of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District. As a long-time community member, and as a parent whose children attended school here on the Kenai Peninsula, I know the high expectations we have for the district, the pride we have in our schools, the amazing staff we have, and the incredible community support for our schools.
We are excited for the 2021-2022 school year! The KPBSD has developed plans for leveraging our technology and expertise’s in instructional delivery to provide increased academic learning opportunities for all students in our vast and diverse district.
We have plans to expand our already robust career and technical education (CTE) opportunities so that students across the entire district have the opportunity to participate, earn industry certifications, and be prepared to enter the workforce, or attend vocational training. Every KPBSD student will be prepared to enter the work force, attend higher education, attend vocational school, and most importantly to be healthy and contributing members of their communities.
I look forward to working together with each of you to continue making the Kenai Peninsula the best place in Alaska for students to attend school, for parents to raise a family, and for all of us to live and work together.
