The Alaska Travel Industry Association Foundation is currently accepting applications for our student scholarship program. These scholarships range from $500-$5,000. To qualify for this scholarship, the applicant must be an Alaska resident, plan to maintain their Alaska residence if they are studying out of state, and are studying a subject related to the tourism industry (hospitality, recreation, business, marketing, etc.) or are seeking a certification related to the tourism industry such as a pilot license.

This scholarship is open to anyone who will be pursuing education related to the tourism industry in the 2025-2026 school year, including those in their second year and beyond of college, and those who are completing master’s degrees.

The deadline for applications is January 31, 2025. Please share this scholarship with any student you think would be interested or anyone in your network who could spread the word about it!
