The American Legion, Department of Alaska is proud to offer this post-secondary scholarship to all graduating high school seniors within the Department of Alaska who meet the fixed criteria. This scholarship is not based on exceptional grades or athletic abilities. This scholarship is designed for students who are ready to make a commitment to their future. All post-secondary programs are acceptable including college, university, trade schools, or any other program. What you have done in the past is not as important as what you want to do in the future. Please show your dedication to your future by completing this application on time and to the best of your ability. It need not be typed but please make it legible.
