Southern Kenai Peninsula Community Scholarship
To provide a scholarship to a graduate from an accredited high school program who resided in the service area of the Homer Foundation at the time of high school graduation. The scholarship is for students attending an accredited technical or collegiate institution. Current college students may apply annually as long as they meet the application criteria.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited high school while living in the Homer Foundation service area on the Southern Kenai Peninsula, spanning from Ninilchik through Nanwalek. High school seniors and past graduates may apply.
- Demonstrated financial need
- Applied or accepted to an accredited technical or collegiate institution (acceptance before release of funds)
- Pursuing an accredited program
- Completed the FAFSA
- Preference given to students staying in Alaska.
