LINKS is the foundational curriculum for middle and high school students with basic skills in our district. All teachers of secondary programs described as Intensive or Structured are expected to learn and use this system by the STAR program. SLPs that work with teachers in these programs are encouraged to participate to maintain a collaborative team. This consistency of implementation workshop is designed for staff who were trained in the LINKS approaches last year.
This two day training will provide participants with a review of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies used in LINKS. The focus of the workshop is on the fidelity of implementation of evidence-based practices and the use of data collection for instructional decision-making. Participants will expand their abilities to teach skills necessary to support success during daily functional and academic routines. Effective use of this online system will be demonstrated and practiced.
